Download and install Time Garden

Step-by-step installation of Time Garden: download Obsidian, download the vault, unzip, and open. Free. Works on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Time Garden works wherever Obsidian works. Installation is super easy.

First things first,

1. Download Obsidian.md 💜

You can skip this entire step if you've already installed Obsidian!
Navigate to the official Obsidian download page
Under Windows, or Mac (depending on your Operating System) click Universal to download the installation file.

Open the installation File and follow the instructions
Open Obsidian the same way you would open any other application.

Navigate to the Time Garden download page (it can also be found on the landing page)
Enter an E-Mail you have access to
Open your order-overview in your inbox and click view Order (the yellow Button at the bottom)
Download Time-Garden-Vault.zip
Locate the file, and unzip it
1. On Mac: Double-Click the file to unzip it
2. On Windows: Right-Click and hit "Extract All..."
3. On Linux: Right-Click and hit "Extract Here"
Put the resulting "Time-Garden-Vault" folder somewhere safe

Important Note!

We want to put the resulting Time Garden folder "somewhere safe" as we will open it through obsidian in the next step.

Moving it after you've already opened it, means you need to re-open it. So this is purely to save you a headache.
